Its Thanksgiving and like many people, I’m looking forward to spending time with family and friends.
Recently, I heard a news reporter recommend that if you become frustrated with crowds and delays, consider staying home this Thanksgiving. You’ll need patience if you’re traveling.
For many of us, with the holidays comes travel. You just can’t avoid it. Let me be honest — I hate traveling around the holiday. It’s stressful. Roads and airports are packed. People can be rude and pushy and something always seems to go wrong.
But a few years ago, before the pandemic, with my husband in Mississippi and me in Pennsylvania, one of us needed to travel if we wanted to spend Thanksgiving together.
Here’s how a delayed return flight moved from stress and frustration to a cherished memory and a communication reminder-personally and professionally.
